What do you love most about teaching?
I love seeing curiosity, discovery, and growth. I am always excited to learn new things that make me a better teacher. My teacher brain never turns off.

What is the best way to describe your classroom on a typical day?
My classroom is called the happy place. There is something for everyone there. We have routines, but there may be a spontaneous dance party at any moment.  We connect to content, each other, and our world through art.

Why do you love working in NNPS?
I started as an assistant. Along my journey, there have been people and programs to help me get where I am today. The Arts department is amazing! STEM is top notch! I am proud to be a product of NNPS- McIntosh, Dozier, Denbigh. I love giving back to the community that I thrived in as a student.
