Teacher Apprenticeship Program

NNPS is proud to offer current full-time employees serving as Instructional Assistants a Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program (TAP).

Apprentices spend the first two years working as full time Instructional Assistants (IA) and learning how to teach alongside a highly-trained tenured teachers while earning a Bachelor's degree. After completing TAP, apprentices receive priority hiring and are required to work as full-time NNPS teachers for three consecutive years.
