IGNITING CURIOSITY IN HAMPTON ROADS
The Newport News Public Schools and Christopher Newport University STEM Community Day is a collaborative event designed to connect students, families, and the community with hands-on STEM learning and real-world career pathways. Hosted at the Freeman Center, this FREE experience brings together K–12 students, educators, university faculty, and industry partners for a day of exploration and discovery.

First Robotics
Watch teams compete in LEGO Robotics challenges and see high school engineering marvels in action.

Tech & Innovation
Experience virtual reality, live 3D printing demos, and hands-on emerging technologies available to students across Hampton Roads.

Family Maker Zone
“Make and Take” stations for all ages. Build structures, launch rockets, and enjoy local food trucks.
